Tata power is about to start Electric vehicle charging stations.

Tata Power is about to start a nationwide plan of setting up Electric vehicle charging stations from North to south beginning from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from East to West, from Guwahati to Dwarka and Bikaner over the next 3-5 years downline.
The move is the part of the transformation program, Tata Power 2.0, which focuses on customer-centricity, sustainability, and digital to become the utility of the future said CEO Praveer Sinha.

Tata Power 2.0 Future plans:

As we can see Tata power has already tied up with OEMs like Tata motors under home charging solutions are provided to each of the vehicle owners, as part of the vehicle purchase, and nearly 15,000 home chargers have been given.

Not only this nearly 2000 plus public charging are given to nearly 170 cities, including highways between cities to provide a hassle-free experience to charge their vehicles when required.

As well as charging facilities is being provided along with captive charging for public transportation and buses at their depot. To deal with range anxiety, we have also developed a user-friendly mobile application, for finding the exact location of charging stations inside the cities or on highways,

one who wishes to book it in advance chooses the location in-app before they arrive. payments can be made through the app by choosing their payment gateways.

The procedure for Tata Power 2.0 was developed three years back to set up a roadmap, as also mindset changes to have more retail focused business from the earlier purely related business.
